How Fixed Wireless works?

Have you ever been stuck on the freeway during rush hour traffic? Wish you could take an alternate route to your destination? Unlike being stuck in bumper to bumper traffic, Fixed Wireless Internet avoids the congestion often experienced by hard-wired networks.

Fireline broadband delivers integrated services over our wholly owned and operated network. Fireline Broadband has multiple base stations within each geographic area to better serve its customers. Each base station broadcasts and receives data through Access Points. Fireline Broadband delivers a reliable last mile connection through our privately owned wireless network. There is no middle man and we do not rely on local legacy wired networks infrastructure to reach our customers. Many people are unaware that most local carriers POPs (Point of Presence) are serviced by microwave backhauls.

Advantages of Fixed Wireless
Spacer
Quick Install- While it can take weeks or months for wired service providers to install a new customer, Fireline Broadband can install your internet in 2-5 days. Same day installation also available at an additional cost.
Scalable Bandwidth- Bandwidth can be increased in a few hours with a simple phone call.
Security- Fireline Broadband’s network provides a redundant path from each base station to its core network. Fireline Broadband’s equipment is not configured for open access and has multiple layers of security. This means that Fireline Broadband and the equipment manufacturer are the only ones that are aware of the data transmission and authentication schematic used to initiate communication. In addition, data is transmitted to and from Fireline Broadband’s customers through a 128 bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) which adds even more protection. Fireline Broadband deploys eight levels of signal modulation. Our network radios can automatically choose the appropriate signal levels to ensure optimal throughput during adverse weather condition. Fireline Broadband radios are designed to withstand winds up to 125 mph.
Ethernet Connectivity- Fireline Broadband provides an Ethernet connection hand off. This makes it easy and simple for customers to connect directly to their LAN.
Diverse Path Failover- Diverse Path Failover (DPF) automatically “fails over” the customers’ internet connection to a backup circuit in order to provide even greater protection against downtime. A true path.
